Therapy Can Help You

What types of trauma do you work with?
We work with teens and adults who have experienced many different forms of trauma, including difficult or overwhelming life experiences, relationship trauma, childhood experiences, loss, medical trauma, and other events that continue to affect how you feel, think, or relate to others.
How can therapy help with PTSD?
Therapy can help you understand trauma responses, reduce symptoms such as anxiety, hypervigilance, avoidance, or intrusive thoughts, and develop skills that help you feel safer and more grounded. Treatment is tailored to your individual needs and pace.
Do you offer online therapy for trauma?
Yes. We offer secure telehealth therapy for teens and adults throughout Ohio. Online therapy can be a convenient option for people who feel more comfortable receiving support from home or who have difficulty getting to the office.
What happens in the first trauma therapy session?
Your first session focuses on understanding what has been difficult, what you would like help with, and what feels important to you. You will not be expected to immediately share every detail of your trauma. Therapy is paced in a way that supports safety, trust, and comfort.
How long does trauma therapy take?
The length of therapy depends on your experiences, symptoms, goals, and the type of support you need. Some people benefit from focused short-term work, while others may need more time to process complex or long-standing experiences.
Do you accept insurance for trauma therapy?
Yes. Our therapists participate with a variety of insurance plans, although coverage varies by therapist and individual plan. We recommend verifying your behavioral health benefits with your insurance provider before beginning services.
